Gathering Together in His Name

I am opening up my blog today to accept your special prayer requests.

I believe so much in the power of prayer and how interceding for others can really storm heaven with our specific requests, that I would like to pray for each and every one's special prayer requests this week.

Just last week I asked special friends and community brothers and sisters to join me in praying for my auntie Mercy who is very sick with leukemia. My auntie has surrendered her body and spirit to the Lord already and has refused any further treatments and medications. Of course we were all deeply affected by this and saddened by the possibility of losing her to the sickness. But it also gave us a reason to help her in fighting the battle in the spritiual realm, by declaring in faith her healing. It meant a whole lot to me and my family that so many people are thinking of her and are praying for her to be given an extended lease on her life. I wish to be able to give back in this aspect to help others in prayer for their specific needs as well.

Just post your prayer requests in the comments section or email me here. Please add your name to the linky list if you want me to pray for your concern, AND leave me a comment if you decided that you to just email your prayer request. I promise that every prayer request will be treated with confidetiality.

I'd also like to ask each of you to pray for whose ever request is up. Even if the person didn't leave a specific one, just lift him or her up in your prayers.

Please continue to pray for my auntie Mercy.
As we gather in His name, let us all pray for each other's concerns. Thank you.

What a wonderful idea. I will continue to pray for your Auntie Mercy :).
I would like you to pray for me to be strong working in the 'world' again and to be His hands and feet and to be a witness of the Gospel, as He leads me.
(((hugs)))

I'm emailing you with mine and feel free to email it to others as you see fit. I don't mind it being known, just not publicly on the world wide web ;)

My mother and I were talking today about the power of prayer and have decided that we are going to pray for each other every day this week and take note of what things change in our life. It's a wonderful gift to get the gift of prayer!

Your auntie Mercy has just surrendered completely to God. Maybe this is what we all should do too. Our petitions should be: Dear Lord..."Mercy is your daughter. It is only you who has the power over everything. Power over life. Power over doctors who treat Mercy. Only YOU can decide. If life should be given back to her let it be so, but if it is time for her to be with you, Your Will Be Done."

I will pray for your Aunt. In the meantime, hang in there.

I have always believe in the power of prayer as well and that it is more powerful than we all think.

Please pray that I have enough inner strength to get by some of the challenges I am going through now;)

Love the prayer community, and love that you are so willing to help others in prayer. It's such a powerful thing!!

Please pray for my daughter, that the Lord will bring to her someone that He has picked out for her as she wants to have a 'nice' boyfriend for a change.

And for my son, that the doctor's will figure out what his pain is from.

Still holding your Aunt up in prayers, as well!

Thanks so much!!!
